This Is Not a Government Office. We operate a private reference site. We cannot conduct an official check, obtain or correct a record, or accept an expungement filing.
Need an Official Record?
Use the source tied to the record. Colfax County's main criminal-justice offices share a Raton address, but their files are not interchangeable.

- State arrest-record self-review: New Mexico Department of Public Safety, Law Enforcement Records Bureau, through its notarized Authorization for Release process
- City police reports: request the file from the city agency that created it, not from the county sheriff
The sheriff does not publish a separately named records division, fee sheet, or online copy portal. For a sheriff-created report, call or email the Sheriff's Office and identify the incident number, date range, place, agency, and record type. A written request may use the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act when needed. Court documents belong with the judicial clerk, and statewide arrest compilations belong with NMDPS.
